The ‘LARGE’ function in Excel will identify the nth largest value within a specified cell range.

The LARGE function can be useful in a number of circumstances. For example, you could use LARGE to calculate the 10^{th} largest figure in a range (i.e. top 10 boundary), which could then be used to calculate the sum of all values less than or equal to that value (i.e. sum total of top 10).
